The Christians believe Romans chapter 1, saying it is the end result of having been "given over to a reprobate mind," from having "known who God was, and refused to serve Him as God," and then going over into other religions after having known who God was,leaving God, and going "out from the faith," into other belief systems "worshiping the creation rather than the creator," Then the next step was God gave them over to a reprobate mind "where man lay with man, as should be with a woman."
