IN RESPONSE TO THOSE BLAMING THE CHRISTIANS FOR THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION STATING HOMOSEXUALITY FALLS UNDER A "MENTAL ILLNESS" DIAGNOSIS, THESE ARE THE FACTS:
The American Medical Association stated it was "mental illness," not the Christian community. The Christians believe Romans chapter 1, saying it is the end result of having been "given over to a reprobate mind," from having "known who God was, and refused to serve Him as God," and then going over into other religions after having known who God was,leaving God, and going "out from the faith," into other belief systems "worshiping the creation rather than the creator," Then the next step was God gave them over to a reprobate mind "where man lay with man, as should be with a woman."
Make the distinct difference between Science saying they are mentally ill, and that there is no gay gene as they are not "born that way," as quoted by the American Medical Association, as opposed to Christians saying it is an end result of having left God, and God then giving them over to a reprobate mind.
The real issue here is neither, it is the legal rights of Christians to adhere to their "core values," as upheld by the Federal Supreme Court, giving them their legal rights to quote their beliefs without censorship, and without being discriminated against for adhering to their this faith. The "hate speech," laws were overturned by the Federal Supreme Court as unconstitutional religious censorship, as the state has to stay out of the church and it's doctrines, and can not bring in religious censorship. This being the law now, and the Federal Supreme Court upholding Christians legal rights to 'debate the issue,' as well as their NOT finding a "freedom from religion," gives Duck Dynasty the legal right of free religious speech without their employers discriminating. The issue is the legality, and that Duck Dynasty has the legal right to "debate the issue," and "adhere to their religious core values," by Federal Supreme Court ruling.
