Almost 80% of US citizens wanted the "unessential" government jobs to end permanently, and not just be stopped for a temp. shutdown. Most citizens did not want to see the shut down end, and see govt. going back to the same old waist of tax money. Unessential jobs should have been cut out permanently and the outlandish big government waist ended.
